hello and some new music
hi. welcome jeremy. i never listened to mingus, davis or ellington. i didn't know they even played blues. i am definately going to check them out.
two new(ish) albums i've been diggin' are north missisippi allstars- hernando and chris duarte group-blues velocity. they are both great albums that walk the line between blues and rock. chris duarte plays like hendrix and the guitarsist from the allstars( i don't know his name) has a fantasic tone, real smooth but dirty at the same time. check it out if you can.
