First video of me jamming using scales

Well, I have been learning a few scale shapes, and figured it was about time for me to try jamming to them, so I went to the vamp machine and asked for an Em acoustic.

This is my first time trying to improv over these scales, so I just kinda went with what I though kinda sounded ok.  I'm still a bit squermish using my pinky, so not to much of that... that and feel free to squerm when I miss a note, not compleatly memoriesed all across the neck yet and was trying a few different things out.

Well I thought I was doing ok, so I turned on the camera (and inevidably did worse from then on, lol) but it was ok.  I should probably re do the video as it's horifficly out of sync, but the link will be the same I think for now as it's the only video on my page from me it is

any constructive criticism is welcome :D (be gentile, lol)

probably another one (synced) will be posted soon, posibly of me doing this over, and planning a bit ahead, lol.

Good work! It's great to have this to monitor your progress too, good idea! You're beginning to incorporate hammer ons and slides too, you might want add vibrato as well to add some more expression to your phrasing. I can tell you have a good sense of phrasing, just keep going and improvising often, you'll keep progressing and it's fun too! smilies/smiley.gif

That is great! Keep up the good work. It is always nice to listen to yourself and just compare what you did sound like to what you currently sound like.
